Sambar/Kuzhambu Podi (powder)

This is the method, my mom makes Sambar Powder, which can be used to make Vathakuzhambu, Sambar and also to give spiciness to vegetables like lady's finger etc.

Ingredients:
Coriander seeds - 2 cups
Thuvar dhal- 1 cup
Red Chillies - 4 cups if small round ones, 7 cups if it is thin long ones.
Methi seeds - 1/4 cup
Asafodieta Piece - 1 inch

Method to make Sambar/Kuzhambu Powder:
Dry Roast all the ingredients till the aroma is released. Grind them into a fine powder in flour mill.
